This cluster of charming properties set in 40 acres of parkland offers the potential for peace and tranquillity for you, and fun for your children. A shared swimming pool, park, play-barn and games barn make this site an ideal location for families with children of all ages including teenagers.

This site is perfect for more than one family travelling together since the choice of properties offers the opportunity to stay in separate houses while still holidaying as a group. Every house is equipped with a ‘walk about’ baby monitor so that you can sit outside and enjoy the evening sun with a glass of wine whilst your children sleep soundly inside.  Dogs are welcome here free of charge. 

Your stay at Le Manoir can be as restful or as active as you like: laze by the pool (Le Manoir itself has its own newly refurbished pool for 2007 shown in the photos below) or explore the villages and countryside around. Whatever you expect from your holiday, Le Manoir and surrounding properties will go a long way to meeting the wide and varied needs of your whole party.

And Beyond...
Le Manoir makes an ideal base for exploring the Dordogne - from canoeing or cruising down the Dordogne River to cycling or simply enjoying a picnic in the beautiful countryside - there is plenty to appeal to every member of the family! Why not browse the antiques markets or take a trip to one of the many dramatic and beautiful chateaux that are on the doorstep? Alternatively, take a moment to enjoy some of the local wines - the area is particularly famous for Monbazillac - a sweet pudding wine produced on the outskirts of Bergerac.

Notes:  Towels may be hired at 6 Euros per person per week; please bring swimming towels.  Baby-sitting is available on request and is 8 Euros per hour (minimum 3 hours).

Your Journey
Getting to the Dordogne is no longer a chore. With great deals available from the UK to Bergerac, it is worth considering flying to your destination - you could be on holiday within just 4 hours of leaving home. It is also quite possible to drive to this part of France from the UK.  It is about a 9 hour drive from Caen and we can recommend family friendly places to stay en-route.  Why not break your journey in the stunning Loire valley and visit a chateau or two.  It makes the journey part of the holiday; just enquire and we can advise what is best for you.
