There is plenty of space for three families with their entourage of children and babies and plenty to do to keep everybody happy. The house itself has been restored to enhance the building’s original features. Exposed beams, open fireplaces and stone walls have all been woven into a stylish and modern family home. Le Moulin carefully incorporates all of Tots to France’s family friendly features without spoiling the aesthetics of the house. Originally two separate buildings, now linked by a glass enclosed summer room, the house has five bedrooms (four doubles and the attic room with four single beds)and four luxury bathrooms. All the bedrooms are spacious and airy and renovated to a high standard. The attic room is ideal as a large children’s bedroom and this perfect ‘den’ sleeps four plus a cot. Le Moulin was fabulous, it exceeded our expectations, it was beautiful, spacious, well equipped and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Even though there were 6 adults and 7 children, there was enough space for us all and we were able to stay comfortably without getting in each others way. The area was also fabulous and perfect for what we wanted.

The adjacent dining room area seats 12 around the large farmhouse table, or for al fresco living why not make use of the outdoor summer kitchen and dining room, overlooking the pool? The beautiful enclosed swimming pool and outdoor kitchen is the perfect setting for a leisurely dip or family fun. The ‘s’ shaped pool features a beach style entrance - ideal for toddlers - and is, perhaps not surprisingly, a big hit with children. With an acre of garden away from the pool, there is plenty of room for the children to run about or for you to find a quiet spot for an afternoon siesta... Whether it is rest and relaxation that you are after, a fun packed holiday or perhaps a bit of both, Le Moulin is the perfect choice. And Beyond
Most of Le Moulin’s visitors make full use of the house’s proximity to great beaches (1hr 10min) and the fantastic vineyards. Just 10 minutes from the village of St Emilion and 40 minutes from Bordeaux, it would be remiss not to mention the wine. With a sea of vineyards in every direction it is not difficult to see how this area has become world renowned for its wine production. With many hundreds of chateaux in the Bordeaux region alone, wine tasting comes as a highly recommended holiday activity! With so much great wine and fantastic French food, why don’t you make use of the English speaking babysitting service and enjoy some well deserved adult time? There are several excellent restaurants within 15 minutes drive of Le Moulin. The magnificent coastline is a ‘must see’ and a great day trip for the kids. The safe and sheltered beaches are ideal for building sandcastles and with the towns of Arcachon and the Cap Ferret Peninsula not far away it is easy to squeeze in a decent restaurant and a glass of wine as well. For the more energetic amongst you, fantastic views can be sought from the top of the Dune de Pyla, the highest sand dune in Europe. Your Journey
