This three bedroomed gite is perfect for a large family or two couples with babies or toddlers. Its `upside down` living makes fantastic use of the views of the fields behind, with the kitchen and open plan sitting room area upstairs and the sleeping accommodation downstairs. The kitchen comes with all the mod cons- dishwasher, microwave and washing machine and there is also a TV, DVD and Satellite TV reception including BBC. Of the three bedrooms, one is a double, one is a twin and the third room has a double bed and a single bed, offering maximum flexibility for families. Outside the front of the gites is a large shared grassy area ideal for the children to run around in or play ball games in. Garden toys enhance the children`s enjoyment. Beyond this is the enclosed pool with childproof lock. It has a stepped entrance which is ideal for toddlers who are just getting to grips with the water. Only 1 mile away (about 20 minutes walk) from the charming village of Labastide d`Anjou (complete with a bakery, butcher, pharmacy, two hotel/restaurants, a doctor and a dentist), the Les Gites d`Anjou are perfectly placed to explore this fascinating corner of south west France. The nearest supermarket is 7 minutes in the car at Castelnaudary. With Toulouse and the medieval city of Carcassonne only 45 minutes away and the Mediterranean coast and Pyrenees mountains within an hour`s drive, there is plenty to keep every member of the family happy.
